Terms of Service

The service

This service lets you upload CSV/XLSX files, review an AI-generated cleaning plan, and run a deterministic cleaning engine after your explicit confirmation. AI suggestions never execute on their own, and your original file is never modified.

The homepage check and the free browser tools (remove duplicates, remove blank rows) process your file in your browser only; nothing from those tools is uploaded or sent to an AI model.

Limits

• Files up to 10 MB, 50,000 rows, 200 columns and 500,000 cells (rows × columns). All limits apply together; meeting one limit does not override the others. XLSX processes one selected worksheet with a standard header per project; merged cells are not supported.
• Files remain available until you delete their project or your account.
• We may adjust limits to keep the service stable.

Your data and rights

• You keep all rights to the files you upload and the outputs generated from them.
• You may delete projects and your account at any time; deletion removes the associated stored objects and database records.
• We do not sell your data and do not use your file contents to train models.

Payments, billing and refunds

• New accounts receive 60 one-time signup credits with no card required. Free signup does not start a paid subscription.
• Paid plans are billed in USD: Trial is $9 once for 150 credits valid for 90 days, once per account; Monthly is $19 per month; Yearly is $180 per year. Both subscriptions provide 750 credits each monthly period. Yearly credits are issued monthly, not all at purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled; the Trial pack does not renew.
• Open Billing in your dashboard to access the Waffo customer portal. Sign in with your purchase email and use the subscription cancellation controls. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues through the paid period unless the purchase is refunded.
• Waffo acts as the merchant of record for paid purchases. Waffo processes payment, issues the receipt, and appears on your card statement. Waffo's Buyer Terms apply to the transaction in addition to these terms.
• AI planning and cleaning runs are quoted and charged separately. Usage depends on data size and the work involved, including detected issues, supplied context, optional masked samples, rule complexity and output format. There is no fixed conversion between cells and credits.
• Uploading, profiling, reviewing and manually editing rules do not consume credits. Re-opening a saved plan and downloading existing results do not incur a new charge. A new cleaning run, including one after rule edits, requires a new quote and your confirmation; earlier results remain available.
• Approximate cleaning counts on the pricing page are illustrative calculations, not measured averages, guaranteed results or fixed file allowances. They assume one AI plan and one simple CSV cleaning run at 7 credits combined. Your actual usage may be higher or lower. The quote you approve determines the credits used for that step.
• Paid subscription credits are granted monthly and expire at the end of each period; one-time pack credits expire on the date stated at purchase. Expired credits do not roll over.
• If an AI planning step or cleaning run fails, the credits reserved for that step are released if they have not expired or been revoked by a purchase refund. Credits already used by a successful earlier step are not automatically returned; for example, a failed cleaning run does not reverse the charge for its successfully generated AI plan.
• Refund requests can be sent to support@tidyx.io within 14 days of purchase. Consumed credits will be deducted from any refund. A successful refund removes unused credits from that purchase and stops future grants from the refunded subscription term. Credits from other purchases are unaffected. We respond to support and refund requests within three business days.

Acceptable use

Do not upload content you have no right to process, malware, or data whose processing would violate applicable law (including personal data you are not authorized to handle). Do not attempt to bypass authentication, access other users' data, or abuse the AI or worker services.

Cleaning suggestions and reports are informational. They are not statistical, legal, medical or financial advice; you are responsible for validating results before relying on them.

Availability and changes

The service is provided "as is" during the MVP phase, without uptime guarantees. Features may change; material changes to these terms will be posted on this page.
